The Penobscot County Commissioners Opioid Settlement Fund Committee is accepting applications for the first round of Opioid Settlement Fund Grant Awards. This funding opportunity will advance Penobscot County’s overall goal of reducing OUD/SUD-related morbidity and mortality by strengthening and expanding SUD/OUD prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery service capacity in our region. The second and subsequent rounds will allow for requests over $49,999.

Eligible Applicants:

Maine-based organizations providing services in Penobscot County who are public or private entities, nonprofit or for-profit, are eligible to apply. Domestic faith-based and community-based organizations, educational institutions, tribes, and tribal organizations are also eligible to apply. Preference will be for nonprofit organizations.
