Request for Proposal - Franklin Street Office Renovation
The Penobscot County Commissioners are requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide all equipment, and to perform all tasks necessary to efficiently and safely renovate the offices contained in the Franklin Street side of the building.
Pre-Bid Meeting
The County will hold two (2) pre-bid meetings. Each bidder MUST attend at least one (1) of these meetings. The meetings will be at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1st, and Wednesday, May 8th.. The meetings will begin at the Franklin St. side of the building, at the entrance of 26 Franklin St. The purpose of these meetings is to get a first-hand look at the current layout of the offices, and to answer and/or field questions, clarify for potential Bidders any aspect of the RFP requirements that may be necessary, and provide supplemental information to assist potential Bidders in submitting responses to the RFP.
Written proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, marked as follow:

All proposals must be received no later than 4:30 PM Friday, May 24, 2024
Only sealed bids will be accepted. All bids must be complete upon submission. Bids received after the stipulated closing time will be returned unopened, at the Bidder’s expense. All bids received will be opened during the weekly Commissioner’s meeting on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
