Penobscot County Commissioner’s Office is committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the public and employees are our first priority and are committed to the efforts to help stop the spread of COVID-19. With this in mind, we are closing public access to our County building beginning Wednesday, March 18th for the next 14 days. Our departments will continue to provide essential services to the County, but we ask that these services be completed through email or telephone as access to the County building will be limited to employees only. Please visit our website at www.penboscot-county.net for a list of our departments and contact information or call 207-942-8535.

Essential services from our first responders will continue, and many departments will also continue to operate with modified services to minimize in-person contacts.

We will have a drop box in our County Building vestibule that will be available should any documents need to be delivered to the County Building and will be monitored closely.

Please find a message from Honorable Judge Faircloth of Penobscot County Probate Court regarding upcoming cases below. For more information on Probate matters and filings please contact Penobscot County Probate at: 207-942-8769 or visit their website at www.maineprobate.net
