PUBLIC NOTICE

NOTICE OF PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING

Please take notice that the Maine Army National Guard, 32 State House Station, Augusta, ME 04333, (207) 460-6350 is holding a Public Informational Meeting concerning a Natural Resources Protection Act permit application to be filed with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection pursuant to the provisions of 38 M.R.S. §§ 480-A thru 480-BB.

The application is for filling approximately 1.7 acres of wetlands to allow widening of approximately 6.9 miles of existing logging roads, building a rifle range and 8 gravel surface bivouac/laydown areas at the Woodville Training Site, located between Pea Ridge and Pelkey Roads in Woodville and T2 R9 NWP.

The Meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 14, 2019 in the Woodville Town Office, 624 Woodville Road, Woodville, Maine.

The purpose of the meeting is for the Maine Army National Guard to inform the community of the project, its anticipated environmental impacts, and describe the process for members of the public to submit comments to the Maine DEP regarding the project.
